Volvo flexifuel offers five models functioning with the superethanol E85
At the current market for superéthanol cars running on E85, the supply of Volvo Cars is undoubtedly one of the largest and most diversified with five different models accommodate one or two engines FlexiFuel.
The latest versions are launched Volvo S80 and V70 engine equipped 2.5FT, a five-cylinder turbocharged FlexiFuel developing 200 hp (147 kW) and 300 Nm of torque.
Since late 2007, the Volvo S80 and V70 are also available with a four-cylinder FlexiFuel 2.0F developing 145 hp (107 kW) and a maximum torque of 190 Nm
Volvo Cars has today and one of the largest ranges of vehicles running on superethanol. Indeed, the brand offers no fewer than five models - C30, S40, V50, V70 and S80 - available with one or two engines FlexiFuel.
FlexiFuel versions of Volvo S40, V50 and C30 have the 1.8F, a four-cylinder developing 125 hp (92 kW) and 165 Nm of torque.
Naturally, all these engines, as well as all components affected by the fuel, have been adapted to superethanol E85.
