Venturi Fetish, the first electric sports car
Returning from California, where it met a great success at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Venturi Fetish - the first electric sports car of automotive history for a series production - is on its land at the 21st Symposium International Electric Vehicle (EVS21).
Venturi Fetish Electric: The sports car of a new era
Venturi has entrusted the French engineer Gerard DUCAROUGE (ex-Lotus Formula 1, Matra former Formula 1 and Le Mans) and the design of this car enters a new era. The Venturi Fetish has been designed to be an electric vehicle without compromise, using the best available technology in the world. The general architecture of the Venturi is comparable to that of a race car. The engine, ideally located in the center rear position, is backed by carbon monocoque chassis. Thus, the vehicle continues to record weight of 750 kg empty and 1,100 kg with batteries.
With its Lithium-Ion batteries (58 kWh), T-positioned in the chassis, Fetish offers a range of 350 km and a fast (under 80 Amp.) 1.6 km per minute, a recharging 10 minutes for 16 km, which covers largely urban travel daily.
Lightweight and perfectly balanced, Fetish offers performance out of the ordinary: it offers remarkable acceleration - 0 to 100 km / h in under 5 seconds - and a top speed of 170 km / h well above speed limits.
The engine offers 180 kW and a perfectly linear engine torque, available at 100% at startup. The engine brake is adjustable and allows the batteries to recharge each deceleration.
The Venturi Fetish is the most contemporary cars available today because it takes into account current ecological challenges while wearing a very positive vision of the car of tomorrow, made fun of conduct.
The technological challenge is a major cultural change - the entry into a select vehicles sport an electric vehicle silent. Thus, the Fetish offers its driver to his passenger as a new mobility experience, with 20 years ahead.
The car that will change attitudes:
Gildo Pallanca-PASTOR, President of Venturi, imagined the Venturi Fetish for "25 people in the world capable of changing attitudes on electric propulsion."
This car will be marketed extremely technological such a work of contemporary art, with production limited to 25 copies for the world.
Designed by the French designer Sacha Lakic, Fetish will be sold at 450,000 euros (excluding taxes) in only 3 cities around the world: Monte Carlo, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
