The new Seat Exeo will be launched in 2010

Volkswagen Group has announced that 2010 will be released new convertible model, based on the Exeo.

The Exeo is based on previous generation Audi A4 B7. To the disappointment of the Seat, the new Exeo was not appreciated as expected. Just on this basis, wants to broaden Seat Exeo model range to attract the largest possible group of buyers.

Four-wheel drive version will be available with propulsion 2.0 TDI at 200 hp and 170 hp 2.0 TDI. The new model will be called the Exeo 4, will be 2500 euros more expensive than the version with front wheel drive and will be released in April 2010.

Seat will also launch in June, Exeo model convertible model that before we see in Geneva in March, in the concept stage. The convertible will be like the 2.0 TDI Ecomotive model is equipped with Start and Stop, resulting in consumption of about 4.5 liters/100 km.

The convertible will cost about 5,000 euros more than the sedan version.
