New Supercar McLaren: MP4-12C

McLaren released the first official information and data with new supercar MP4-12C. The model will be presented in Frankfurt.

With a design thought over the last years, the new McLaren is shaping up to be a model drawn only after a series of principles of functionality. Not all technology transfer from Formula 1, but is inspired at a rate of one hundred per cent of king motorsports competition.

A clear example in this respect are the side vents located near the doors. English behind the new supercar is remarkable in a purely sporting notable being mounted double outlet center, all placed in a unique way that do not meet the other car. McLaren engineers reduced the weight of the vehicle as much as possible. To achieve this end, McLaren used the knowledge gained in the racing world and made a monococa structure of carbon fiber, which is very resistant and durable. McLaren MP4-12C is equipped with a system called Brake Steer, which is meant to improve stability in cornering and vehicle behavior on road.
