Mercedes GL: Spy Photos of The AMG Version

The most important novelty of the model year 2012 for the Mercedes GL may be represented by the AMG version. A copy of the car was caught on the desert roads of California, as evidenced by these spy photos.

The sports version of the big SUV Stuttgart is recognizable to dedicated alloy wheels, vented disc brakes and large diameter pipes to double output.

The car should be identified by the initials GL 63 AMG, even though under the hood will be installed the new 5.5 V8 twin turbo engine from 545 hp and 800 Nm of torque which debuted with the renewed Mercedes S 63 AMG.

In addition, the Mercedes GL is available with the AMG performance package that boosts power to 570 hp and maximum torque of 900 Nm
