Honda Surpassed Toyota in Market Share in the U.S.

Japanese car manufacturer Honda has received many recall announced by Toyota, exceeding and market share in the United States, shows a survey of TrueCar.com and quoted by AFP.
Thus, the Toyota group's market share fell 5.4 percentage points, from 17.5% in the first three weeks of January, to 12.1% during January 21 to February 15.
Honda has taken over as the leading position with a market share of 13%, up 11.2% compared with the first three weeks of January.
American manufacturer Ford was also the advantage of Toyota's decline, advancing its market share from 10.6% to 11.7%.
The investigation relates only to retail sales and does not take into account sales by companies and car rental fleet.
On January 21, Toyota announced that recall 2.3 million cars in service in the United States because of the risk of locking the throttle, after the other in September recalled 4.2 million cars.
