Alfa Romeo Giulietta preparing a version GTA
Alfa Romeo prepares a sporty version of the Giulietta model.
New Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo Giulietta is the first model, which uses new compact chassis. It was presented this month at the Geneva Motor Show. The name is a tribute to the Giulietta model '50-'60 years, the car that rewrote the history of the brand and made possible the dream of many enthusiasts to have such a car and drive.
Propulsorul used Quadrifoglio Verde will be the 1750 cc, four-cylinder petrol, turbocharged, able to develop 235 hp. The GTA will also be fitted with start and stop system, which aims to reduce consumption and CO2 emissions. The main rivals will be Ford RS Megane and Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Dimensions will be those of a compact length of 4.35 m, 1.46 m height, width 1.80 m and a wheelbase of 2.63 m. The luggage capacity is 350 liters. The interior recalls the current model some classic lines of the '50s but a series of inspired design details of 8C Competizione.
