DRIVE-SMART Evergreen/Conifer offers 1 1/2 to 3 hour classes for the community on child passenger safety (carseat safety). "Keeping kids safe on the road" is the motto of Englewood's Fire Department "Team Car Seats." The team provides free safety instruction to make sure your child's car seat is properly installed. Firefighters on the team have attended and graduated from a 40-hour car seat technician course, and are available to inspect child safety seats and educate parents/caretakers on proper installation.
