Inspection stations are convenient places where families can:
- make an appointment
- learn, from a nationally certified child passenger safety technician, more about child transportation safety
- learn to adjust their car seat's harness and car seat angle for their child
- learn to install their car seat in a safe vehicle seating location
- check to see if their car seat has been recalled
- learn to feel confident about protecting their children in any vehicle
Inspection stations are manned by nationally certified child passenger safety technicians. Car seat inspections are provided free of charge to the public. However, replacement car seats are not free. Appointments are required and infant/child must be present along with appropriate child passenger safety seat for their weight.
