To assist parents in protecting the lives of the Village's youngest residents, the Gurnee Police and Fire Departments offer free child safety seat inspections upon resident request. The Village currently has 28 certified child safety seat technicians who will inspect, instruct, and correct improperly installed child safety seats. Residents who wish to take advantage of this service, or who have any questions regarding child safety seats, should call.
