The Grayslake Fire Department is committed to protecting the safety of children. It is estimated that over 90% of Americans currently have their child in some sort of safety seat. That is an amazing number but what is even more amazing is that 80% of those car seats are improperly installed. The Grayslake Fire Department has child safety seat technicians trained in proper installment of your child's seat. Our technicians will install your seat properly, give you tips on the best way to protect your child, and even give you a new seat if you don't have one or your seat is not adequate. There is no charge for these services we simply ask that you call first so we can make sure we have a technician available.
