The New VW Beetle, Mini Rival
Prepares Volkswagen New Beetle, a model that will compete directly with the Mini.
The second generation of the modern Beetle will be launched next year and will focus more on issues than retro-dynamic. Volkswagen New Beetle sales will come next spring, after its appearance will form concept to the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Volkswagen Beetle model will continue in the Puebla factory in Mexico, with the Jetta model. According to internal sources, quoted by Autocar, Volkswagen will build a new Beetle, with a modern design, with much stronger lines and a retro dress style different from that currently represents.
Criticisms of the current Beetle was considered by Volkswagen, which will create the next generation model more useful, more cabin space and a storage capacity of 250 liters.
The new Beetle will have a range of engines of 1.2 liters and 105 horses of 1.4 liters and 160 horsepower and 2.0 liters and 210 horses puetere. Diesel range will include a propeller of 1.6 liters and 105 horsepower and a 2.0-liter 160-horsepower. Moreover, Volkswagen will launch and a hybrid version of the new Beetle. Roughly Volkswagen Beetle wants to do in a serious rival for the Mini.
