Here's the new Mitsubishi ASX!

Mitsubishi will officially at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Mitsubishi ASX. ASX is a new compact SUV in the same class with the Nissan Qashqai and the new Hyundai iX-35. The new model is based on the concept cX, a concept introduced in 2008.

New Mitsubishi ASX is how battle, to say that they want a diversion, a huge departure from and Pajero SUV. Mitsubishi wants to be known worldwide as an automaker, which produces smaller and more economical cars.

The new ASX uses the same platform as the Lancer's. In Japan was released as the RVR. The ASX has a length of 4300 mm, being slightly shorter even than a Ford Focus. Traction used will probably be the integral feature of the front wheel drive Mitsubishi.

The engine version is sure to be a Euro 5 diesel 1.8-liter, which will have a 6-speed box and start and stop system. The new model should reach Mitsubishi dealerships in Europe since this summer.
