GM announced the closure operations of Swedish brand Saab
GM announced that the Swedish brand Saab will close business because of failure of negotiations for sale to mark the Dutch Spyker.
As analysts have predicted the auto market, GM had no choice but to close Saab activity. Importance of brands in northern Europe fate was sealed after the Koenigsegg co-nationals have withdrawn from the head of a consortium that wanted to take over. Then, officials Koenigsegg revealed that those from General Motors inexplicably delayed phases of the transaction.
Among those interested in the Saab was also counted from the Chinese and Dutch Baica from Spyker. If the Chinese were satisfied only with the acquisition of technology from the Dutch Spyker apparently had no money asked GM.
Thus, GM ran buyer for Saab and because the first is in the process of restructuring, after the declaration of bankruptcy in May of this year, can not sustain operations Swedish producer. Saab, a company history in aviation and automotive industry is forced to go to nothingness because of very poor financial results of the global economic crisis intensified.
