Details of the New BMW 1 Series

The new BMW 1 Series was spied during testing of the city, and early information suggests that the new model will be rebuilt from scratch.

BMW 1 Series has been criticized many times for limited space, especially rear passengers and luggage. It seems that the new model was developed so as to cover the need for space. Besides extra space, BMW will offer a sporty design similar to that of new models.

The new model will have an increased wheelbase platform that can be used on front-wheel drive model, it will be released in 2013. Unlike the current model, the new 1 Series will have smoother lines, and the back will have a more harmonious design.

1 Series BMW could be the first to receive new diesel and gasoline engines with three cylinders. New range of 1.5-liter engines are the future models of the Bavarian city. At launch, but could be available with 1.6-liter gasoline propeller. It can be equipped with Efficient Dynamics system and start and stop.

Shortly after launching the new 1 Series, BMW might launch a version of electric and hybrid. These new models will be based on Megacity.
